Lady Cardinal basketball players honored

The Santa Paula High girls’ basketball team concluded their season with a banquet last week. For the varsity, Erika Mora was honored as the Most Valuable Player. The Coach’s award went to Bianca Castillo, Most Inspirational Irma Rivera, Most Improved Samara Turrubiartes, Hard Nose Award Nancy Roman and the Scholar Award went to Laneija Delgadillo.JV awards: Most Valuable Player was Kathleen Salas, Coach’s Award Mayra Mendez, Most Inspirational Alejandra Cervantes and Most Improved Ana Garcia.The team thanks the Lippert family for the ice cream, Sam and Annie Salas for the flowers, Vons for the cakes and El Pescador for the dinner.
