Briggs students chosen for All-State Honor Choir

Three Briggs students have been chosen to participate in a middle school All-State Honor Choir implemented by the California Music Educator’s Association. Grace Everton, 8th grade, and 6th graders Noah Magana and Celeste Ramirez will be going to Ontario to rehearse and sing in a concert for an audience of parents and music educators at the Association’s state convention March 14. Middle school singers from all over the state were asked to submit audition CDs, and from these CDs a special committee selected 100 of the best singers to form the All-State Honor Choir. The Briggs students will have a three-day rehearsal, and then present the concert with students from all over the state.
