Undefeated Santa Clara wins over Lady Cards

The 9-0 Santa Clara Lady Saints held on to their no-loss record against the Lady Cardinals Tuesday night. In a game played at Santa Paula, the Santa Clara varsity claimed a 68-21 victory. The Lady Saints dominated the court from the beginning, leading 35-13 at the half. Their strong offense and one-on-one defense couldn’t be matched by Santa Paula, although the Lady Cards never gave up.Lanejia Delgadillo was the top scorer for Santa Paula with 10 points.The JV Lady Saints also won, defeating the Lady Cards 48-17. Top scorers for Santa Paula were Clarissa Mata with 8 points and Mariah Dominguez with 4 points.
