Kiwanis helps out girls softball

The Santa Paula girls’ 12-Under All Star softball team will be playing in the ASA Girls’ Fast-pitch 12-B Western National Championship July 27-August 2 in Oregon. The girls are trying to raise $13,000. The Santa Paula Kiwanis Club is helping out with a $500 donation. Kiwanis President Bill Grant is seen above handing the check to Rose Larson. Donations are tax deductible and should be made out to Santa Paula Girls Softball. They can be mailed to 234 S. 13th Street, Santa Paula. The girls are holding a car wash tomorrow at Rite Aid from 8:00 a.m. to 12 noon.
