Beverly G. Minson
FillmoreBeverly G. Minson, 82, died peacefully at her home on Saturday, November 21. She was born on March 3, 1927 in Hope, North Dakota.She married her husband Charles in 1946, and together they farmed and raised their five children in Powell Butte, Oregon. They relocated to Santa Paula, and have been here for the past 21 years.Her primary occupation was as a wife and mother. She also worked at the Blanchard Community Library, the Santa Paula Oil Museum, and as the organist for the First Presbyterian Church in Santa Paula.Bev loved to knit, read, and garden. She also found time to volunteer at Meals on Wheels.She was preceded in death by her husband, Chuck. Bev leaves behind her brother Homer Wennerstrom, daughter Susan and her husband Jim Jenett, daughter Christina Minson, daughter Roberta and her husband Frank Wiggins, son Joe and his wife Sara Minson, daughter Lisa and her husband Mitch Stones, as well as 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
