Cardinal swimmers outswim Fillmore but lose to Villanova

The Cardinal swim team has had a mixed two weeks. The varsity boys beat Fillmore 55-26 and the girls took a 95-60 win. The JV boys won 29-0 and the JV girls lost 75-51.
Against Villanova Santa Paula had a tougher time. The Cardinal varsity lost to the visitors 121-32 and the girls missed out 116-49. On the JV side the boys lost 111-13 while the girls lost 116-49.
The boys’ and girls’ varsity swimmers are now 1-1 for the year. The Cards host La Reina today at 3:00 pm.
