United Way of Ventura County announced today it has received $14,350 from the Monsanto Fund - a private foundation and the philanthropic arm of Monsanto Company - to support its Community Impact Fund which focuses on three vital areas of need in Ventura County: Education, Income and Health.
“Monsanto Fund’s support of United Way is important,” said David M. Smith, president and chief executive officer of the United Way of Ventura County. “The Fund’s contribution and commitment to United Way will help significantly as many people in our county face the challenges of surviving in tough economic times.”
