Lady Cards shut down Grace Brethren

The Lady Cardinal varsity basketball team won their second Frontier League contest last week, defeating Grace Brethren 61-46.

The Lady Cards played hard for the entire game. Leading the way for Santa Paula were: Lizzette Ramirez, 11 points, 1 rebound and 3 assists; Elissa Rico 10 points and 3 rebounds; Yesenia Mancilla, 12 points, 3 rebounds and 2 steals; Miranda Magana, 8 points and 2 rebounds.

Santa Paula’s overall record is now 6-9.  Their league record is 2-0.
