Seniorcize: Bones, Balance & Strength Training

* Do you have difficulty moving around or getting in and out of chairs?

* Do you sometimes lose your balance? 

* Are your joints a source of pain? 

* Do you need better control over your Diabetes, Blood Pressure or Arthritis?

Make a choice to be positive and all that you can be. Getting more active will help you stay healthy and independent for as long as possible for yourself, your children and grandchildren.

What is Seniorcize: This exciting twice a week class is designed for seniors. It will address a whole range of issues common to seniors such as: 

* Improving your Diabetes control

* Improving your blood pressure

* Improving bone strength 

* Decreasing the risk of falls 

* Increasing muscle strength, endurance and energy for each day.

When: Tuesday and Thursday for 11 weeks Starting September 6th 

Time: 10:30 am - 11:30 am

Where: Santa Paula Senior Center, 530 W. Main St., CA 93060

Cost: The regular cost for the class is $44 which is $2/session. In an effort to help launch this series the SCAN Health Plan’s SCAN Senior Resource Center in Ventura is helping with the cost. So the first 25 seniors (60 and older) who register will only pay $22. 

A minimum of 15 is needed for class formation.

She helped establish and train instructors for the well know Bone Builders program which received the “Best New Program” Award from California Parks and Recreation. Jaci will inspire and guide you to new levels of energy and health.
