Nico had a strong faith in Jehovah God and was one of Jehovah’s witnesses since 1971 and remained a faithful servant until her death. Nico had suffered chronic arthritis for the last 40 years, however her faith in God and in his promises contained in his word the Bible is what helped her endure her illness giving her the hope and conviction that illness and death will be no more as brought out on Isaiah 33:24 and Revelation 21:4

“And no resident will say ‘I am sick’”.

“And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

Nico will always be remembered by her children as a loving mother who was always there for them for what they needed even if it was just a listening ear. Her friends and family will always remember her joyous laugh and witty replies, but mostly her loving disposition to be among friends and family, always looking for opportunities to express her love and feelings to all who surrounded her.
