Fire destroys new Chevy Silverado

This 2015 Chevy Silverado, with 5 miles on the odometer, is prepared for a spectacular explosion and fire stunt last week. 20th Century Fox Television was filming a television program at Oak and Main Streets. The Silverado bursts into flames in this one take stunt. The stunt was carefully planned to make sure nothing would happen. The Santa Paula Fire Department was on the scene and as soon as the director yelled cut, and all safety concerns were addressed, they moved in and doused the fire. The televsion show will premier in March 2015. This is the second time that 20th Century Fox Television has filmed in Santa Paula.
