A two-vehicle collision Tuesday evening sent two people to the hospital, according to a Santa Paula Police Department spokesman.

Sgt. Ken Clark said details are scarce about the collision that occurred February 24 at approximately 7 p.m. at the intersection of Palm Avenue and Harvard Boulevard.

Clark said a white pickup truck was traveling east on Harvard Boulevard and as it passed through the intersection a Chevrolet northbound on Palm Avenue broadsided it.

Two unidentified people were injured in the collision; Santa Paula Fire EMTs and ambulance personnel treated them on the scene before they were transported to Santa Paula Hospital.

The accident, which heavily damaged both vehicles, is under investigation.
