Cardinal boys get past Oaks Christian in soccer

The defending Frontier League boys’ soccer champion Santa Paula Cardinals took on Oaks Christian Wednesday and left with a 1-0 win. The only score of the match came from Mario Diaz in the 55th minute. This gives the Cards a 10-3 overall record for the year and puts them at 1-0 in league play. The JV squad won their game 4-2.The boys host Malibu today on Jones Field.
