Santa Paula Blazers runner wins two out six events

Chad Hansen, 10 of Fillmore wrapped up a successful season with the Santa Paula Blazers Track Club in the Bantam Division. Competing at the Varsity Track Finals held at Moorpark High School, Chad took first place in the 100-meter sprint and the long jump. He won the long jump with a leap of 12’. 11”. In the 100 meters he won a photo finish.Chad was the only Santa Paula competitor to ever qualify for six events at the finals.
