All Honor Roll students earning a GPA of 3.5 or a Perfect Attendance for the first semester were recognized during the month of March. SPHS recognized over 300 students at the luncheon event. Congratulations to the students and their parents.The SPHS Principals Club currently has twenty-one students on the list. In order for a student to be part of the Principals Club they must score above 1500 on the SAT exams. SPHS student SAT scores range from 1560 to 1890 on this year’s results and the list continues to grow. Students will receive special discounts on major school events.SPHS hosted their annual Career Faire on Friday, March 17, 2006. The event took place at McMahan Gymnasium. There were over 70 presenters in attendance representing universities, colleges and career opportunities. This successful event was coordinated by Ms. Lupe GalindoThe Santa Paula Fire Department is currently conducting an Emergency Response Training program for SPHS students. Fire Captain Steve Lazenby and Mr. Steve Lopez, Science Teacher, are working as a team to coordinate the program on campus. The training includes disaster preparedness, fire safety, medical triage and several other areas. The team meets on Tuesdays after school.
