Isbell boys go 1-1 on the road

The Isbell Middle School boys had mixed luck on the basketball courts last week. The Condors lost their first game to a tough Las Colinas team, 50-28. Isbell came back to win their next contest 57-8, beating Carpinteria. The Condors are now 2-4 on the year.Eddie Castillo hit for 7 points for Isbell and created 4 turnovers. Hayden McClain had 10 points, Tim Orosco had 8 and Juan Valdovinos had 5 points.Defensively, Coach Darren Hicks says Tyler Wagner, Ceaser Mondragon, Joey Garcia and Jessie Aguilar all played great defense.
