Driver not injured in solo South Mountain Road accident

A South Mountain Road solo vehicle accident did not result in any injuries, even though the driver struck a utility pole, according to a California Highway Patrol spokeswoman. CHP Officer Shawna Davidson said the accident occurred Tuesday, February 19 at 5:20 p.m. on South Mountain Road, east of Richardson Canyon Road.“The involved driver was Andres Villarreal of Santa Paula,” who was at the wheel of a silver 2001 Lexus IS300 when it struck a utility pole. Villarreal was not injured in the accident, which is still under investigation.
