The 3rd-5th Grade Gifted and Talented Education Science Fair was held over three days (November 3, 4, 5, 2008) at the Santa Paula Community Center. The three day event culminated with the Awards Ceremony at Glen City School’s cafeteria on the evening of November 5, 2008. The 3rd - 5th Grade Gifted and Talented Education Science Fair was held over three days (November 3, 4, 5, 2008) at the Santa Paula Community Center. The three day event culminated with the Awards Ceremony at Glen City School’s cafeteria on the evening of November 5, 2008. Gifted students in grades 3rd-5th worked on experiments guided by their GATE cluster teachers. The participants all received ribbons and certificates. Mrs. Borchard, the GATE Facilitator, Dr. Braham, the Superintendent, Mr. Robles, Board Member, handed out the awards to a packed house. Mrs. Borchard commented, “The students were so proud of their work. This event really celebrates the importance of science in our schools and is an important tradition the students look forward to participating in each year!”
