Barbara Webster School announces Spelling Bee winners

Pictured are Barbara Webster School Principal Patti Fulbright with the winner of their Spelling Bee, Jazmine Cordova, and runner-up Valeria Magana.  Both girls are in 5th grade in Mrs. Aceves' class. The Spelling Bee was held on Monday, January 11 in the cafeteria.  The winning word was “straightforward.”  The girls will go on to compete in the Area 5 Spelling Bee February 18 at Blanchard Elementary School at 9:00 a.m.
