Varsity volleyball squad does well at tournament

The Lady Cardinal varsity volleyball team played at the Laguna Blanca Varsity Tournament Saturday.

The girls played well, making it to the playoffs, but lost to Sierra Canyon in the first round of playoff games.

They started out going 1-and-1 against Holy Martyrs, 25-18 and 23-25.  Next they lost two games to Saddleback Christian, 16-25 and 16-25.  They took two from Valley Christian, 25-17 and 25-18.  The Santa Paula Varsity Tournament takes place tomorrow, starting at 8:30 a.m.
