County Clerk and Recorder and Registrar of Voters Mark A. Lunn announced this week the permanent expansion of public service hours at the County Clerk and Recorder Division.
Beginning Monday, November 29, the clerk and Recorder Division will be open to service the public from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, including during the lunch hour. For the past several years, the Clerk and Recorder Division has closed at 4 p.m.
Lunn stated, “I understand that some of the public cannot get to the Government Center during their lunch break. This extra hour allows the public additional access to record real property documents, obtain a marriage license, and request vital record documents.”
This expansion of service hours in the Clerk and Recorder and Election Divisions is another step by Lunn to enhance customer service for anyone conducting business in Ventura County.
