The varsity girls are now 4-1 for the season. The varsity starts Frontier League action Thursday with a home contest against Malibu.
Lady Cards win on the softball field

The Lady Cardinal varsity and JV softball teams had several games last week.
The varsity girls won a contest at Santa Barbara High School, 8-6. Miranda Magaña pitched a complete game and recorded five strikeouts. Felicia Magaña went 3-and-3 and scored four of the runs. Andrea Rodriguez went 2-4 for the game.
The JV girls also won over Santa Barbara with an 8-5 score. Stephanie Lopez had two doubles and a two-run RBI. In another game the JV lost to Nordhoff 23-1.
