A Santa Paula woman dressed for a night of 1970s disco dancing instead found herself asked to “Come on down!” on The Price is Right where she won a jackpot! The episode featuring Veronica Perez will be shown Monday and according to Courtney Smith, Perez “Had a chance to meet our host Drew Carey, spin the Big Wheel and maybe, just maybe take home the entire showcase,” of prizes worth the really, really big money.

Perez was accompanied to the taping of the Halloween broadcast by friends who also dressed circa 1970s disco style. Smith said the game prize result of Perez’s appearance is still a secret, but she had a happy ending, which can be seen October 31 at 10 a.m. on KCBS Channel 2.

“Although we can’t tell you” what Perez won, Smith noted that “Nobody leaves ‘The Price is Right’ without a great prize... and a really fun chat with host Drew Carey.”

Smith said everyone is welcome to “Come on down!” to watch a taping of the show and try his or her luck at being chosen as a contestant. Tickets are free and contestant hopefuls can get complete information and obtain their show tickets online at http://www.cbs.com/daytime/the_price_is_right/
