The Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clara Valley Harvard site is participating in a new golf program. The program, entitled Snag Golf, teaches kids the fundamentals of golf.
SNAG stands for “Starting New at Golf”. The program contains all the elements of golf but in a modified form, which enables club members to grasp the game quickly. Elkins Ranch golf course head professional Joel Pyron and assistant professional Matt Kappas will continue to run the program at the Harvard Boys & Girls club over the next seven weeks.
“SNAG golf is all about having fun while learning the basics of golf,” said Harvard Boys & Girls club branch director Maricela Soriano. The SNAG golf equipment and training tools are specifically designed to simplify the learning process for club members.
