How would you like your students’ art hanging on the gallery walls of the Santa Paula Art Museum? We invite all Ventura County teachers to participate in our exciting “Art About Agriculture Student Art Project”! The project is being held in conjunction with the Museum’s Sixth Annual “Art About Agriculture” exhibit on view November 9, 2013 through February 9, 2014. The Museum has set aside special exhibit space to feature artworks by your students!
Both the student art project and the “Art About Agriculture” exhibit are designed to engage students with their connection to local agriculture-to see its beauty and appreciate its importance in our county. Selected student artworks will be hung on the museum walls, the students will be honored guests at the opening reception of the acclaimed exhibit, and their art will remain on display for the full run of the exhibit. In addition, students are always admitted to the Museum free of cost, and those with featured artwork will have a standing “family pass” to bring friends and relatives to the Museum.
We invite you to try our student art projects, and submit your students’ work for consideration.
