Francis W. Boyle 

Francis W. Boyle, 90, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2015, after a long battle with dementia. 

Francis was born on November 10, 1924 in Flemington, Missouri. During his senior year at Santa Paula High School he was drafted into the United States Army, and was part of the 526th Armored Infantry Battalion. During WWII, he spent 208 days on the front line, including the pivotal Battle of the Bulge. Once WWII was over Francis came back to Santa Paula where he met his wife Lucille, and the two were married almost 70yrs. Francis also spent many years helping to raise $200 million to build the WWII Memorial in Washington D.C.  He was so proud to have the opportunity to be a guest speaker at the memorial in October 2005, along side Vice President, Dick Cheney. Francis was also a successful Century 21 real estate broker, for over 20 yrs. in Santa Paula. But of all the accomplishments Francis had in his life, to him the most important were the years spent as a Free Will Baptist Pastor. During his early years in the ministry he helped raise funds and build 245 churches across the U.S.  In his 60 yrs. as a Free Will Baptist minister, he pastored 9 churches.

Francis is survived by his loving wife, Lucille Boyle; great niece, Lauren Polk; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Visitation will be Thursday, October 1st, from 4:00-8:00 pm at Skillin-Carroll Mortuary, 738. E. Santa Paula St, Santa Paula. Funeral services will be Friday, October 2nd, 1:00 pm, at Santa Paula Free Will Baptist Church, 406 Acacia Rd.

Graveside service will be Friday, October 2nd, 2:00 pm, at Santa Paula Cemetery.
