The 14th annual Bahá’í Human Rights Awards, sponsored by the Bahá’ís of Ventura and Western Los Angeles Counties, will be held at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library on December 5.

The 14th annual Bahá’í Human Rights Awards, sponsored by the Bahá’ís of Ventura and Western Los Angeles Counties, will be held at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library on December 5.The event coincides with and promotes the goals of the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights on its 56th Anniversary, and also honors individuals and groups who have made humanitarian contributions within these communities.The Western Los Angeles County and Ventura County Bahá’í communities are seeking nominees to honor individuals or organizations as this year’s recipients for this noteworthy award. Three honorees will be awarded and recognized at this prestigious event.Past recipients of this award include the 2003 honorees Michael Ford - 2003 State Bar Pro Bono Awardee, Les Goldberg - advocate for the homeless, and Cardio Start providers of surgical services for disadvantaged countries.
