SCVB: VP-Regional Manager Hough appointed, expansion planned

Santa Clara Valley Bank (SCVB) President/CEO Michael D. Hause has announced that Kris Hough has joined SCVB as Vice President-Regional Manager, a position that will oversee the Bank's coming expansion into the Santa Clarita Valley.

Hause has announced that Kris Hough has joined SCVB as Vice President-Regional Manager, a position that will oversee the Bank's coming expansion into the Santa Clarita Valley.Hough, who leads the recently opened SCVB Loan Production Office in Valencia, has an extensive banking background.The Southern California native has spent much of her professional banking career in the Santa Clarita area including managerial positions at Crocker Bank, Wells Fargo, Valencia Bank & Trust (VBT) - where Hough's responsibilities as Director of Branch Services included supervising five VBT locations - and the latter's successor, Union Bank of California."Having Kris join our Santa Clara Valley Bank team is exciting," said Hause. "Her abilities in all facets of banking continues to impress me, especially her passion to provide great customer service...that attitude is not only what Santa Clara Valley Bank is all about, but also a founding principal of the Bank. The Bank plans to open a full-service branch in the Santa Clarita Valley next year and Kris is taking that first step for us."Hause noted that Hough's deep community involvement also mirrors the SCVB philosophy of area support.Hough is Immediate Past Chairwoman of the Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce and presently serves as a Board Director, and as a Director of the SCV Chamber Education Foundation. The Treasurer of Soroptimist International of Santa Clarita Valley, Hough is also Founding Board Member/Treasurer of the Santa Clarita Valley Mayor's Committee that concentrates on employment opportunities for those with disabilities."Kris is a uniquely good fit with our organization in terms of community banking experience and our area of expertise," said SCVB Board Chairman Sanger "Sandy" Hedrick. "Her real strength is in customer relations and community relations," a SCVB hallmark. "Kris is high-energy and has a good community spirit.
