Wells Fargo & Company today announced that it will contribute $10,000 to the American Red Cross of Ventura County and $5,000 to the Ventura County Fire Department following the La Conchita Mudslide and other recent storm damage that has impacted the county.

Wells Fargo & Company today announced that it will contribute $10,000 to the American Red Cross of Ventura County and $5,000 to the Ventura County Fire Department following the La Conchita Mudslide and other recent storm damage that has impacted the county. The company also announced emergency programs to help Wells Fargo customers in Ventura, Santa Barbara, Los Angeles and west San Bernardino counties recover from the storms.Wells Fargo’s contribution to the American Red Cross will help provide direct emergency services in the La Conchita area and in other hard-hit communities in Ventura County, including Fillmore, Piru and Ojai Valley. In an effort to minimize loss of life and damage from future storms, the fire department will use the donation to fund educational outreach, safety and prevention training programs.In addition to $15,000 in grants, Wells Fargo announced several special programs to help affected customers through the recovery process, including: · Waiver of early withdrawal penalties on both consumer and business time deposits to give victims easier access to their funds;·Emergency credit line increases for WF Visa and MasterCard Credit Card business and consumer customers. Customers may also be eligible for special assistance on their monthly payments;
·Emergency unsecured loans for individuals up to $25,000 at a special rate of 5.50%; ·Home Equity line increases for existing customers up to $25,000; ·Case-by-case assistance to help customers by extending terms and deferring payments on their existing Home Mortgage, Home Equity and Personal Credit Management accounts; and ·Deferred payments, bridge loans, temporary line increases, or short-term emergency loans for small business owners.
