The Canine Adoption and Rescue League (C.A.R.L.) has recently closed escrow on Madeline’s Boarding Kennel in Santa Paula. The group will continue to operate the complete boarding kennel in addition to grooming. Scott Dunbar, broker for Troop Real Estate, Inc., facilitated the sale.
To thank the group for their business, Scott and his wife Cynthia are donating to help the fundraising efforts of the League’s upcoming Pooch Parade. The parade is a fun filled day at Camino Real Park in Ventura on Sunday, July 31 from 8:30 to 4 p.m.C.A.R.L. is a Ventura County non-profit dog rescue organization. Almost entirely run by volunteers since 1996, C.A.R.L. has placed over 1,900 unwanted, abandoned and homeless dogs. Dogs in the adoption program are placed in prescreened loving and secure homes.
